Spectrum
2.7.7.1
Overview
The spectrum measurement displays the frequency spectrum of the receive signal after the filter selected in the
Setup
screen has been applied. The spectrum display is updated continuously. The units on the vertical axis are dBm instead
of dBm/Hz, and therefore the spectral display should only be used for measurements involving collections of discrete
tones and not frequency bands. However, the graph can be used to determine the relative signal levels of any time of
signal. The axis extents may be adjusted as explained in the Graph Display section. The frequency spectrum data may
be saved to a USB drive in a text file and picture file of the display.

There are no restrictions on the line interface setup for this measurement.

Measurements and Controls
The following controls are shown on the screen:

Return to the previous screen

Store the 23-tone measurement results in text format and picture format to the USB flash
inserted in the ATS-5X USB port. If no valid drive is attached, a message is displayed to
indicate this.

Freeze the display in its current state
