e. To stop the interruption, press the same Interrupt Switch SW1 for about 3 seconds until
the “verify” LED lights then release. The interruption cycle will stop.
f. Replace the lid of the Interruption Module.

Step 13: Perform a PUSHBUTTON TEST to verify proper operation
A. Turn on the rectifier circuit breaker and the power to the rectifier.
B. Measure the rectifier output voltage and output current using the Fluke meter. Note these
values.
C. Push the pushbutton switch on the circuit board inside the Base Station for 1 second. This will
begin a PUSHBUTTON TEST that does a complete system test. It identifies the strength of the
satellite or cell phone signal, checks for proper module linkage, sends values to the website,
and checks for proper website acknowledgement.
D. Observe the 4 colored LEDs on the Base Station circuit board next to the batteries.
NOTE
:
This can take up to 10-14 minutes to complete for a satellite system and 2-3 minutes for a
cellular system. During this time, the LEDs will indicate the status of the system (see the chart
below).
