3.1.2
Change password
The access to the user interface is secured by the login name and the appropriate password. In
this view, the pre-set password can be changed to your needs as well as the user name.
The time until the user interface logs off for security reasons the user can be set. After expira-
tion the user have to login again.
3.1.3
Default settings
If the configuration of the device is in a not working condition is it possible to reset the unit to
the factory default (standard settings) values. Two levels of reset are possible:
„Restore User Parameter“ - resets all from user „admin“ settable values to the default
values
„Restore to factory default settings“ - resets all values to the defaults values.
Click the dedicated button to reset the device to its default values. The restore process re-
quires an additional confirmation.
Warning
All own settings are lost after resetting the device to the factory default settings.
3.1.4
Restart
In the rare case the BIG 10 is not responding or is not working properly, the device can be
restarted. All settings are preserved, only the device will boot again. Just click at the “Restart”
button to release the restart.
This restart can be executed as well pressing the “Reset” button hidden below the side of the
housing. Further information can be found at chapter 2.7.

3.1.5
Firmware upgrade
The device is undergoing a continuous improvement process of functionality and perfor-
mance. If a new firmware of the device is available then this can be loaded into the unit. Pro-
ceed as follows:
