3.1 Installation and connection instructions
Installation
El a von will assist you with the set- up of your POI devices, either via a n engineer visit or with s upport by our telephony
tea m.
Your Secured P2PE devices will be deployed to you either already pre -configured or will be set up on site by our qualified
engineer. You will be contacted by our chosen fulfilment house, see below, before your devices a re dispatched, to
confi rm the del i very da te a nd wi l l a dvi s e whether thes e devi ces a re pre -confi gured or not.

Pre-Configured
If your devi ces a re di spatched to you pre -configured, these would ha ve a lready been fully s et up by our chosen
ful filment house before being delivered to your chos en l ocation. When the devices have been delivered, Elavon’s
technical helpdesk will contact you within 24 hours of delivery and will advise of the set-up process, if required, you can
conta ct the helpdesk to assist with the set-up of your device without waiting for a call and talk you through the on-site
s et up process. We recommend that you leave your devices in its original tamper evident packaging in a secure location
unti l you a re rea dy for your devi ces to be s et up
Engineer Install
For thi s method your devi ces will be delivered to you in the original tamper evident packaging and the engineer will
i ns tall the devices whilst on site
