Enter a value from
0-255
in the
Port Priority
field. This influences the choice of port when a bridge has
two ports connected in a loop. A lower numerical value gives that port a higher priority. The default is 128.
9.
Enter a value from
1-65535
in the
Port Path Cost
field. This cost value is added to the root path cost field
in a configuration BPDU received on this port to determine the cost of the path to the root through this
port. The default is 19 for ports set to 100Base-TX and 4 for Gigabit.
10.
Root Path Cost
is a read-only field showing the cost of the path to the root from this bridge. It is the sum
of the designated cost and path cost parameters specified for the root port. When the bridge is the root,
this number is 0.
