Creating a Routing Interface

Console version

To set up a routing interface, you assign an IP address to a port-based VLAN.

Before setting up a routing

interface, you must first create the VLAN. See

Creating VLANs by Port.

From the

Console Main Menu

, select

Set IP Routing Interfaces

. This screen appears:

Enter the IP address, subnet mask and VID for each routing interface you wish to create.

To delete a routing interface, place an

in the

Delete

column.

Select

SAVE

to save your entries.
