Press BUS MODE to route Inputs 1 & 2 to 3, 4, 5, and 6
Mono Speaker Pairs
w/ Mono Volume Controls
Use RCA
“Y” Cable
When adding Mono Speakers only:
1. Connect an RCA “Y” cable from the LINE LEVEL
Outputs of the MAC24 to LINE INPUT 1 of an
ELAN Z660 Multi-Channel Power Amplifier.
2. Connect a single RCA (Mono) patch cable from
LINE LEVEL OUTPUT 1 to LINE LEVEL INPUT 2.
3. Press the BUS MODE button on the Z660. This
automatically routes Inputs 1& 2 to all other Z660
Inputs. No other patch cables are necessary!
4. Connect each pair of additional Mono speakers
to a MACVSO Stereo Volume Control w/Override.
5. Connect the Volume Controls to the Z660
Amplifier.
6. Connect the MACVSO’s VC+ and VC- terminals in
parallel with all other VC+ and VC- wires of the
Volume Controls connected to the MAC24.

Make sure to use the correct MACVMO
Impedance Match settings. See Z660
