Basic settings 

The basic settings screen (Figure 5) offers you the option to assign the device a clear name, a location, 

and a contact partner. 

 

 

Device name: Assign the 

EL-

1000

-4GM

 a name to clearly identify the device. 

 

Location: The location provides you an additional option for identifying the device. 

 

Contact partner: A contact partner responsible for the device can be saved in the third field. 

 

The input fields are configured so that up to 50 characters can be used. At least one character has to 

be set. The use of special characters is possible. The location is displayed in the information bar in 

the above right and helps you to assign the web interface to a device.
