3.4. CONNECTING EXTERNAL MEASUREMENT EQUIPMENT (PV-MOD)
External measurement equipment can be easily integrated in the PV Blocks system by
means of a MODBUS interface (PV-MOD block, nr. 6). The MP-1000S system is
equipped with a weather station (PV-MET500) and an MS-90 DNI measurement system.
In the MP-1000S system a DIN-terminal (nr. 7) is used for the connection of the external
equipment.
Connecting weather station

Connecting DNI / GHI measurement system
The measurement of the direct normal irradiance and global horizontal irradiance (DNI
and GHI measurement) of the MP-1000S system will be performed by a combination of
the MS90 (DNI), MS80 (GHI) and C-Box. The C-Box is used for transferring the data to
the PV Blocks system.
