Error and information messages
Information message
"Temp. too high"
- Ambient temperature is too high. Operate the
instrument within the correct temperature
range.
Information message
"Temp. too low”
- Ambient temperature is too low. Operate the
instrument within the correct temperature
range.
Information message
"Low battery"
- Low battery operation time. Power the
instrument from the power adaptor to recharge
the battery.
- If the battery is not recharged, the instrument
will switch off after a while.
Error message
"Measured value too
high"
- Wrong or unsuitable sample material (see
Section 8.0 “Technical data”).
- Wrong sampling (see Section 4.1 “Taking a
sample”).
- Defective or superimposed microcuvette.
Error message
"Dirty Optics – Use
Optics Cleaner"
- Dirty Optical unit; clean unit (see Section
6.1.3 “Optical unit”).
- Cuvette holder not properly opened or closed;
repeat measurement procedure.
- Cuvette holder not properly engaged; replace
cuvette holder (see Section 6.1.2 “Cuvette
holder”).
- Ambient temperature too high.
- Defective optical unit -> Contact EKF
Diagnostics Technical Support.
Error message
"Memory is full"
-At least 4,000 test values have been stored.
->Delete memory.
System error
Error message
"CRC ROM"
"CRC RAM"

- Internal problem of instrument; operation not
possible.

"Defective electronics"
- Control cuvette or microcuvette in the closed
cuvette holder when the instrument is switched
on; remove cuvette.
