3. Choose 2 for CIAO to get to the ciao_tc main menu (TC MENU)

The list shows all I/O modules on the I/O bus, each on their own row. The
modules from 1-9 are indicated by decimal numbers. If there are more than
nine, modules starting from 10 are indicated by a letter a-z. In the above
example, there are two DIO modules and one AIM module on the I/O bus.
A row starting with
3
contains the following information:

= Remote Terminal number, [range from 1 to 9 and a to z]

= Module name

= Module serial number

= Additional module information
4. Select the module by typing the number (or letter) at the
TC MENU
.
This starts the Remote Terminal connection. Once the connection has been
established,
ciao_tc
prints the information about the selected module (the
same that was seen at the
TC MENU
module list) and shows that the AIM
Remote Terminal has started:

The AIM Remote Terminal is now ready to accept commands:
Pressing
CTRL+A
followed by 0 will return to the
ciao_tc
main menu
(
TC MENU
), where a new module can be selected.
Pressing
CTRL+C
at any time exits the
ciao_tc
and control returns to CPU
console.
Pressing
E
NTER
prints the
ciao_tc
command prompt
