that the saw takes a little time to slow down 

and stop.

Additional safety instructions for all saws 

with splitter

a)  Choose the appropriate splitter for the 

saw blade used.

 The splitter must be thicker 

than the basic blade thickness of the saw bla-

de, but thinner than the width of its teeth.

b)  Adjust the splitter as described in this 

operating manual.

 Incorrect strength, po-

sition and alignment could lead to ine

  cient 

recoil prevention.

c)  Always use the splitter except for plunge 

cuts. 

Re-attach the splitter after the plunge 

cut. The splitter is disruptive when making 

plunge cuts, and can lead to a recoil.

d)  In order for the splitter to function, it must 

be situated in the sawing gap. 

For shorter 

cuts the splitter is ine

 ective for recoil preven-

tion.

e)  Do not operate the saw if the splitter is 

bent. 

Even a very small fault can cause the 

guard hood to close more slowly.

3. Proper use

The hand-held circular saw is designed for sa-

wing straight cuts in wood, wood-type materials 

and plastics.

The equipment is to be used only for its prescri-

bed purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a 

case of misuse. The user / operator and not the 

manufacturer will be liable for any damage or inju-

ries of any kind caused as a result of this.

Please note that our equipment has not been de-

signed for use in commercial, trade or industrial 

applications. Our warranty will be voided if the 

machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial 

businesses or for equivalent purposes.
