Press 1x Mode / On = air circulation mode (only fan)
Press 2x Mode / On = Heating mode 1000 W
Press 3x Mode / On = Heating mode 1800 W
Press 4x Mode / On = the above settings will be
repeated.
To switch off the equipment, press the Mode / On
switch and keep pressed for 5 seconds. The fan will
continue to run for 30 seconds. Then you must set the
power switch to “0”.
7.3 Setting the desired temperature (Fig. 2)
If the heater is working in air circulation mode, the
temperature at the temperature sensor integrated in
the equipment (i.e. the equipment temperature) will
be indicated. You can select a desired temperature
within a range from 5 to 35 °C by pressing the
pushbutton “+” (9) or “-” (7). The set desired
temperature will appear briefly in the display, followed
again by the equipment temperature. Switch on the
desired heating mode as described in 7.2. As soon as
the equipment temperature exceeds the set desired
temperature by 2 °C, the equipment will switch to air
circulation mode. If the desired temperature is
underranged by 2 °C, the equipment will switch back
to the previously set heating power.
7.3.1 Subsequent changes to the desired
temperature
You can change the desired temperature at any time
by pressing the pushbutton “+” (9) or “-” (7).
Note on 1800 W heating mode:
If the equipment
temperature is underranged by 2 °C by the set value
while you are setting the desired temperature, the
equipment will switch to air circulation mode. If you
then raise the desired temperature to 2 °C above the
equipment temperature, the equipment will heat with
only 1000 W; if you raise it to 3 °C or more above the
equipment temperature, the equipment will heat with
1800 W.
Note on 1000 W heating mode:
If the equipment
temperature is underranged by 2 °C by the set value
while you are setting the desired temperature, the
equipment will switch to air circulation mode. If you
then raise the desired temperature to 2 °C above the
equipment temperature, the equipment will heat with
1000 W.
7.4 Selecting the automatic heating period
(Fig. 2)
Note:
You can set a heating period of 1 min (0:01) –
18h 0 min (18:00). You can change the heating period
at any time while the equipment is in operation. You
can switch off the equipment prematurely by pressing
the “Timer” pushbutton (8) and keeping it pressed for
three seconds.
With the equipment switched on, press the “Timer”
pushbutton (8). The hours part of the display will
flash. Set the hours part of the heating period by
pressing the pushbutton “+” (9) or “-” (7). Press the
“Timer” pushbutton (8) again to set the minutes part
of the heating period. The selected temperature will
appear in the display. The time is set as soon as it
appears permanently in the display. The equipment
switches off automatically once the selected time has
elapsed. The fan will continue to run for 30 seconds.
7.5 Switching on oscillation (Fig. 2)
Note:
The oscillation function is powered by an
electric motor. Never rotate the fan heater by hand or
the equipment might be damaged. Press the
pushbutton “(6)”. The equipment will swivel approx.
30° to the left and 30° to the right. To switch off the
“Oscillation” function and have the equipment blow in
one specific direction only, press the pushbutton “(6)”
once again.
7.6 Overheating guard
In case of excessive heating the equipment will shut
down automatically. Should this happen, set the
mains voltage switch (Fig. 2/Item 5) to “0” and pull out
the power plug. Allow the equipment to cool down for
about 30 minutes. After eliminating the cause (e.g. a
covered air grille), the appliance can be switched on
again as described in 7.1. If the overheating guard
triggers repeatedly, please contact your customer
service center (in Germany ISC GmbH).
7.7 Topple cut-out (Fig. 3)
If the appliance topples during operation it will
automatically be turned off by the switch (11). The
LCD and the operating status indicator will go out.
When the appliance has been stood up again (the
switch shown as Item 11 must be pressed) it will
remain switched off and has to be switched on again
with the pushbutton (Fig. 2/Item 10) as described in
section 7.2.
