Open the packaging and take out the equipment
with care.
Remove the packaging material and any
packaging and/or transportation braces (if
available).
Check to see if all items are supplied.
Inspect the equipment and accessories for
transport damage.
If possible, please keep the packaging until the
end of the guarantee period.
IMPORTANT
The equipment and packaging material are not
toys. Do not let children play with plastic bags,
foils or small parts.

4. Intended use
The equipment is designed exclusively for use as an
additional heater in dry, closed rooms. It is designed
to be operated only when placed on the floor.
The equipment may only be used for the tasks it is
designed to handle. Any other use is deemed to be a
case of misuse. The user/operator and not the
manufacturer will be liable for any damage or injuries
of any kind caused as a result of this.
Please note that our equipment has not been
designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial
applications. Our warranty will be voided if the
equipment is used in commercial, trade or industrial
businesses or for equivalent purposes.

6. Before starting the equipment
The equipment can be used indoors in a free
standing position. Keep a minimum distance of 1.5 m
between the housing and walls, combustible
materials (furniture, curtains, etc.). The equipment
may only be used completely mounted and standing
vertically on a stable surface. It is prohibited to
operate the equipment on an instable surface (e.g. on
a bed).
Important. Before using the equipment for the first
time, check that the voltage supply is the same as the
voltage details set out on the rating plate.
Read the safety regulations in section 1.
When the equipment is used for the first time or after
a long period of rest it may emit an odor for a short
time. This is not a fault.
Check the correct air throughput by holding a sheet of
paper at a distance of 10 cm in front of the air outlet
grille in air circulation mode (without heating). The
paper must be blown away from the air outlet grille.
7. Using the equipment
Note:
Approximately 1 minute after the last setting
was made on the equipment, the LCD backlighting
will go out.
7.1 Switching on the mains supply voltage
Set the power switch to “I”. A short acoustic signal will
sound and the LCD will light up briefly. The status
indicator LED will be permanently lit.
7.2 Switching the equipment on/off (Fig. 2)
Note:
The temperature measured at the temperature
sensor integrated in the equipment is shown on the
display.
