thrown backwards.
The compressed air hose is also
fi
tted with a
quicklock coupling to which accessories can be
connected as described above.
6. Operation
Unscrew the tank cover,
fi
ll it with lacquer or paint
and reseal it. Connect the compressed air supply.
Set the air pressure on the compressor’s pressure
reducer. A
fi
lter pressure reducer must be used
for coating lacquer so as to remove oil and water
residue from the compressed air.
Adjust the rotary nozzle (2) to suit the direction of
movement during coating. The required distribu-
tion and application volume can be set using the
point / wide cone regulator (3) and the volume
regulator (4).
The in
fi
nitely variable trigger lever (5) allows an
exact dosing of the spray material. The further you
press the trigger lever (5), the more material will
be added to the compressed air. The maximum
volume of coating material can be limited using
the volume regulator (4).
Tip: Before starting work you should conduct a
brief test on newspaper to
fi
nd the perfect set-
tings. The best results can be achieved if you
apply the material in several coatings, applying
it using alternate horizontal and vertical move-
ments. Maintain a constant distance from the
workpiece to ensure uniform results and also
press the trigger lever whilst swinging the unit
right up to and beyond the edge of the workpiece
to prevent visible bare patches.
