The machine may exceed 85 dB (A). The operator
will require noise protection measures if this is the
case. The noise generated by this machine was
measured in accordance with EN 786.
The value of the vibrations emitted by the handle
was determined in compliance with EN 786.
5. Assembling the grass trimmer

Plug the safety guard (9) on to the motor head
(Fig. 2) und turn through 90°.
앬
Fasten the guard hood (9) with a screw (Fig. 4).
앬
Fasten the guide roller (7) with two screws (Fig.
5).
앬
Plug the additional handle (5) on to the top
handle (Fig. 6). To do so, pull both ends slightly
apart from each other.
앬
Then secure the additional handle (5) using a
screw (A) and the star grip (B) (Fig. 7).
6. Proper use
The trimmer is designed for cutting lawns and small
areas of grass in private and hobby gardens.
Tools for private and hobby gardens are not suitable
for use in public facilities, parks and sport centers,
along roadways, on farms or in the forestry sector.
For the tool to be used properly it is imperative to
follow the instructions set out in the manufacturerʼs
directions for use.
Important! It is prohibited to use the tool to chop
material for composting because of the potential
danger to persons and property.
7. Before starting the machine
You can set your optimal working position by
adjusting the height.
Height adjustment:
앬
Undo the lock (6) (Fig. 8) and set the required
working position by adjusting the top handle.
앬
Then retighten the lock (6).
Adjusting the additional handle:
Place the grass trimmer on a firm surface. Undo the
star grip (Fig. 7/Item B) and set the additional handle
in its optimal position. Lock the handle in place by
tightening the star grip.
Adjusting the tilt angle:
You can adjust tilt angle to 4 different settings. To
do so, press the button (Fig. 1 / Item 10) and set
the required tilt angle. Then release the button.
8. Starting up
The grass trimmer is designed only to cut grass. The
grass trimmer has a fully automatic line extension
system. If the line of the grass trimmer is reduced to
a diameter of approx. 240 mm due to certain works,
the line is automatically extended to maximum
cutting width (approx. 300 mm). This ensures that
you can cut you lawn with the perfect cutting width at
all times.
Note:
If the line is too long when you use the machine
for the first time, the surplus end of it will be cut
by the blade on the safety hood.
To obtain maximum performance from your grass
trimmer, please follow the instructions given below:
