1.0 mm is usually taken from the measured
value, which is the Minor/Physiological apical
foramen prepared for root canal.
The value of the reference distance is only an
estimated value, not a clinical basis.
The measured value does not represent the
distance, only the trend of gradual entry.
WARNING
During measuring, enter slowly to prevent
piercing the tip of the root.
The APEX locator is used to determine the
working length of the root canal. In clinical use,
it must be combined with X-ray and other
means to determine the working length of the
root canal.
The device should be used by dentists with
knowledge of dental root canal length and skill
in operation.
