Hold the power tool by insulated gripping surfaces only, when
performing an operation where the cutting accessory may contact
hidden wiring or its own cord.
Cutting accessory contacting a “live”
wire may make exposed metal parts of the power tool “live” and could
give the operator an electric shock.
Always switch off and unplug the machine prior to any
adjustment, servicing or maintenance.
After long working periods, external metal parts and accessories could
be hot.
Secure the workpiece. A workpiece clamped with clamping devices or
in a vice is held more secure than by hand.
Hold the machine with a firm grip. High reaction torque can briefly occur
while driving in and loosening screws.
Do not force the screwdriver. Let the tool do the work at a reasonable
speed. Overloading will occur if too much pressure is applied and the
motor slows resulting in inefficient work and possible damage to the
screwdriver motor.
Do not carry the tool at its cable.
Always check the tool, cable and plug before use. Have damages only
repaired by specialists. Only insert the plug into the socket when the
tool switch is OFF.
Modifications of the tool are prohibited.
When the machine runs outside, always use a protection switch
(30 mA max.) against fault current.
Switch the machine off if it stops for whatever reason. This way, you
avoid that it starts suddenly and not under supervision.
Always lead the cable to the back, away from the machine.
Do not use the machine if a part of the housing is damaged or in case
of damages on the switch, the connection cable or plug.
Power tools have to be inspected by a specialist in regular intervals.
Keep the handles dry, clean and free of oil and grease.
Do not touch rotating parts.
Be careful with long hair. Only work with close-fitting clothes.
When working with this machine wear ear protectors, goggles,
dust mask and protective gloves.
