INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS TO SET ON 
AND OFF TIMES:  Light trippers turn ON. Dark trippers turn OFF. 
Place tripper on dial edge as shown in figure and set point of 
each tripper to desired operating time. Note if selected time 
is AM or PM. Hold tripper against dial edge and firmly tighten 
knurled screw.

INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS TO SET DIAL 
TO TIME: 

Turn dial counter-clockwise until correct time is 

indicated by arrow on nameplate.

FOR TEMPORARY MANUAL OVERRIDE: Press down lever on right of nameplate to turn ON. Press down 
lever on left of nameplate to turn OFF. CAUTION: Do not rotate dial for manual override.

TO REMOVE MECHANISM FROM CASE: Press lever near the top of the case, and pull the mechanism 
out of the metal box. To replace, insert main plate projections in slots opposite latch and push in 
mechanism until it latches.

240V Motor and 120V Load

• Recommended installation by licensed electrician.

• High Voltage (There may be more that one source 

of supply) disconnect all power sources before 

servicing.

• Risk of electric shock – All terminals are live.

• Use copper wire only.

• Close the cover after setting.

• Tighten connections to 25 lbf-in.

• Use correct gauge wire (8-14 AWG) based on local 

electrical code of at least 105C rating.

• Wire strip length ½"

• GROUNDING: National Electrical Code requires 

that grounding must be continuous and in proper 

electrical contact in all grounding conductors, 

metallic conduits and grounding terminals.
