Operation and Installation
Functionality:
The GSM-2-SMS is used to monitor and control the
EFOY-PRO fuel cell systems in remote locations
with GSM coverage.
The GSM-SMS modem will communicate with the
EFOY-PRO fuel cell and will notify the user about
any system errors or when the cartridge needs to
be exchanged. This increases reliability and safes
time and money.

Installation:
Step 1:
Insert SIM Card
For operation a standard SIM card is required (Mini
SIM card 1.8 volt or 3 volt).
Important:
Before installing the SIM card please deactivate the
PIN or set the PIN to “1538“ (default PIN of the
GSM-2
-SMS
). You can use your cell phone to do
this.
1. Make sure the GSM-2
-SMS
is switched off (no
power supply connected)!
2. Open the SIM lid using a pen as shown in the
picture
3. Insert the SIM card in the correct orientation and
close the lid carefully
Step 2:
Connect antenna
Connect the antenna to the GSM-2-SMS.
It is possible to use another antenna than the
included version. Make sure that the antenna has a
female FME connector.
