5.1.1
Connecting the shaft to the motor
Insert the hose sleeve (2) of the flexible shaft on the motor (1).
Pull the bushing (3) downwards until the hose sleeve (2) can be
pushed in further.
Release the bushing (3).
Pull slightly in order to check whether the shaft is properly
locked in place.
5.1.2
Connecting the shaft to the EFA trimmer
Insert the tappet (1) of the flexible shaft into the EFA
trimmer (2).
Push against the locking plate (3) and push the tappet
(1) further in until the connector assembly locks in place.
Release the locking plate (3).
Pull slightly in order to check whether the shaft is
properly locked and protected against accidental
disconnection.
The EFA trimmer is now ready for use.
5.2
Connecting the pneumatic EFA trimmer
Attention!
Device damage!
Operate the EFA trimmer only with clean, water-
free and oiled air!
Insert the air hose (1) as far as it will go into the
screw-in fitting (2) on the valve housing (3) of the
EFA trimmer.
Guide the air-outlet hose (4) through the
union nut (5) and push it onto the valve
housing of the EFA trimmer.
Screw the union nut onto the valve
housing of the EFA trimmer.
