9. Storage
If possible, do not store the pump for long-term. When long-term storage is necessary,
the pump should be set up and operated for minimum eight hours every six months.
To store the pump:
1.
Put protective covers over the inlet, outlet, interstage (for the 'i' nEXT only), purge,
booster (for the 'T' nEXT only) and vent ports.
2.
Put the pump in its packing materials. Seal the pump in a plastic bag with a
applicable desiccant for fastest pump-down when the pump is put back into
service.
3.
Store the pump in cool, dry conditions until necessary for use. Refer to
Operation and storage environment on page 22
for recommended storage
environment.

When necessary, prepare and install the pump as given in

Always keep the pump upright to prevent the drainage of oil from the bearing
reservoir.
