5. INSTALLATION
5.1.
Physical set-up
Using main board jumpers, the device must be configured according to the input signal at the transmitter.
The following tables regarding position of jumpers are reflected in the marks of the printed circuit.

Location of jumpers
5.1.1.
Input settings (MONO or MPX)
Depending on the signal injected at the Mono/MPX input
(BNC connector on back panel), the JP8 jumpers have to be positioned in one of the following 2
configurations:

MONO

for a monaural signal: activate the filter and the monaural pre-emphasis.

MPX
Æ
for a multiplex signal: activates by-pass of the input stage to use with a
multiplex signal.
