2.3.3.8.1 To enable the calibration process, select the "Energy
calibration" item in the settings mode. The
"Calibration in
progress"
and the status bar of data accumulation appear on the
screen (Fig. 30). After that place the device in its transport case in
the standard lodgment and wait for the calibration result.
Note.
Energy calibration is a rather lengthy process that can last
up to 1.5 hours.

2.3.3.8.2 Wait until the calibration is completed. The following
messages may appear on the display of the device:

"No calibration required"
- which means that the device
correctly identified all the given photopeaks of the calibration
sample and found no need for compensating the measuring path (Fig.
31).
