5.2.3 Press shortly the MODE button if the batteries are already inserted into the 

battery compartment. The dosimeter should enter the mode of gamma radiation DER 
measurement  at  once,  which  is  shown  by  DER  measurement  units  expressed  in 
“µSv/h”  that  appear  on  the  digital  LCD,  and  by  brief  audio  signals  that  follow  the 
detection of every gamma quantum. All the digits of the LCD will be blinking until 
the completion of measurement interval. 

 

The readings of gamma background measurement will appear on the  LCD after 

the measurement interval is completed.  

5.2.4 Press shortly the MODE button and make sure the dosimeter has entered the 

mode  of  gamma  radiation  DE  indication.  DE  units  of  measurement  expressed  in 
“mSv” should appear on the LCD.
