MECHANICAL INSTALLATION
OF THE SPARK DETECTOR
SYSTEM

The problems of mechanical installation are mainly those of the
spark detector RIV-601P/S and the spray nozzle UGN-820. The
other components are installed according to general electrical
and mechanical rules.

The control panel should be installed in a position convenient
for the operator.
The distance from the detectors does not matter.

Solenoid valve EVS-811 must be near the nozzle, to minimize
the time required by water flowing from valve to nozzle.

The alarm light sounder SNA-808L can be mounted in the best
position to attract the operator's attention, at the installer's
choice.
