OPERATION AND IMPORTANT
RIDING POINTS
Warning
• Before riding the vehicle, please make
sure that you are fully fimiliar with all
operating controls & their functions before
riding. To consult a dealer shop if you not
thoroughly understand.
STARTING THE ENGINE
To start the engine you have to turn the
main switch to and press the starting
switch.
STARTING OFF
1. Sit astride the seat, and then adjust
the rear view mirrors.
2. Switch the turn signal on to the directi-
on you wish to turn.
3. Check for oncoming traffic.
4. Slowly open the throttle to accelerate.
5. Switch the turn signal off.
ACCELERATION / DECELERATION
The speed can be adjusted by opening
and closing the throttle. To increase the
speed, turn the throttle grip in direction
(a). To reduce the speed, turn the throttle
grip in direction (b).
BRAKING
1. Release the throttle.
2. Apply the front and rear brake at the
same time.

• Avoid braking hard or suddenly, otherwi-
se the vehicle may skid.
• Railroad crossings, streetcar rails, iron
plates on road construction sites, and
manhole covers become extremely slippe-
ry when wet. Therefore, slow down when
approaching such areas and cross them
with caution.
• Keep in mind that braking on a
wet road is much more difficult.
• Ride slowly down a hill, as bra-
king downhill can be very difficult.
STOP THE ENGINE / PARKING
1. Reduce the throttle to 0 position.
2. Operate the brakes
3. Once the vehicle is stopped turn off the
ignition.
4. Lower the side /main stand with your
foot while holding the motorcycle upright.
Remove the key from the main switch.
