5.2 OPERATION
This section thoroughly describes the equipment start-up and functioning verification procedure. It
is recommended to perform this procedure after installing the equipment and during maintenance
inspections.
This system must be used only for medical, paramedical or health professionals.
1) Connect the power supply cable to the equipment and the electrical network.
2) Turn the EVERLUX on by pressing the general on/off switch.
3) Turn the LED system on by turning the light intensity control (dimmer) clockwise.
4) Use this control to regulate the light intensity
The EVERLUX light source has an over-temperature protection. LED system will turn off if
it reaches a risky operation temperature.
5) Once the procedure is over, turn the EVERLUX off in order to maximize the LED system
lifetime and energy saving.
6) Should you use a video camera (Ecleris PROCAM), connect it to the video input connector
(LED111 and LED121)
7) Connect the video output (rear panel BNC or S-Video connector) to the video input of the
viewing device and turn the EVERLUX on.
8) Select the video input and video Standard in the viewing device.
6. MAINTENANCE
In order to keep an optimum operation of the EVERLUX it is recommended to perform the
following procedures:
Periodic cleaning of all exterior components.
Connections inspection.
Annual technical inspection of the equipment.
To perform any revision or maintenance work, contact your local distributor or the closest
ECLERIS office.
6.1 CLEANING
Before cleaning the EVERLUX, disconnect the power supply cable form the electrical network.
EXTERNAL SURFACES
Clean the external surface of the equipment using a piece of cotton or cloth moistened with mild
detergent or soap. Use only adequate products for the external cleaning of electrical equipment,
prepared in accordance with the manufacturer’s indications.
Perform the cleaning with special care, avoiding water or humidity access to the
equipment.
