6.4. Store and Forward
Store & Forward module lets ePLAYER1 download remote media content to local storage devices
(USB/MMC). When active, it checks daily a remote location including audio media, compares that one with the one
already stored in its local media (SD card) and, if necessary (differences are detected), synchronises the local one
to be an exact copy of the remote one. That is a safe method to play back contents with ePLAYER1 during its
working hours (day time), stored in a local device, and without taking the risk of real-time streaming reception
issues. For safety and efficiency reasons, the remote server where contents are stored must be an SSH one, and
public and private keys must be enabled and used.
Store & Forward module
General:

Status: enables or disables full Store & Forward process.

Time: time (HH:MM) when synchronization will be executed.
Remote source:
o
Host: host or IP Address.
o
Port.
o
Path: host path where contents are stored
o
Username.
o
Private key: private RSA/OPENSSH key
Local target:
o
Path: defined by PRESET1 Playlist Path field
6.5. Network
This page allows configuring Ethernet (wired) and Wi-Fi interfaces:
Wired interface: setup of RJ45 Ethernet interface parameters.
Wi-Fi interface: setup of Wi-Fi interface parameters.
6.5.1. RJ45 cable connection
Connect RJ45 cable into the Ethernet port (17). IP address will be assigned automatically if DHCP
mode is enabled, so it is not necessary to setup IP settings. If STATIC mode is selected, the following
parameters should be configured:

IP: Internet Protocol address

MASK: subnet mask
o
GATEWAY: gateway
o
DNS1: Domain Name System 1
o
DNS2: Domain Name System 2
