Standard connection - CI 3000 / CI 3100
The connection of the Combi Gateway to the CAN bus of the LDS system is performed in the same way as for
all other components; the data exchange with the store computer is performed at approx. 50 kbit:
Procedure
Step 1:
Before the first start-up, the Combi Gateway must be connected to the CAN bus via the COMBICON
connector (CAN1 interface) on the top right on the device.
If the Combi Gateway is installed at the end of the CAN bus segment, the terminating resistor of the
CAN1 interface must be set to ON using the DIP switch CAN Term1; see chapter 6.2.3.
Step 2: Settings on the store computer:
- store computer with firmware < V5.0:

Step 3:
The connection to the LAN is made using a CAT5 patch cable.
Step 4:
The Combi Gateway must be connected to the functional earth and supplied with 24 V DC.
If necessary, use a 230 V AC/24 V DC power suppply (order number KGLNT23024).
