5.3 Patient management
The
Save to Database
mode
without confirmation
allows you to add patients from the
OT
O
WIN
device to the
software database more quickly. The software will automatically scan the list of patients on the
OT
O
WIN
device and add
them to the software. If the patient does not exist, it will be automatically created with the information present on the
device. On the contrary, if the patient is already present in the database, it will be automatically synchronised.
This synchronisation mode has the advantage of not requiring any intervention from the user.

Deleting a patient
With the
OT
O
WIN
software, it is possible to delete patients from the database as well as patients saved on the device.

A patient can be deleted from the
OT
O
WIN
database
via the home screen. The "Delete Patient(s)" button al-
lows you to permanently delete the selected patient(s)

A patient can be deleted from the memory of the
OT
O
WIN
device via the
"Data"
window in the
"De-
vice"
section. The
"Delete from SD card"
button is
used to permanently delete the patient from the device.
It is possible to select several patients from the list be-
fore deleting them.

In order to use this mode, it is advisable to have carefully filled in the patients' information at the time of
their creation on the
OTOWIN
(name, first name, date of birth and gender).
If you select patients from the list before starting the database registration, the software will only synchronise
the selected patients. If you have a lot of patients stored on the device, it is advisable to select only those that
have not already been synchronised in order to speed up the process.
