Chapter 5. The use of the software OTOWIN 

5.2 Installation 

 

 

Finally, you can choose the location where the application files will be installed (by default 

"C:/Program Files/Echo-

dia/OTOWIN"

). 

 

Click on 

"Install" 

and then 

"Close" 

to complete the installation.  

Once the software is launched, you will get the following window:

USB drivers 

The

WIN

 

device has a generic USB mass storage driver and is therefore automatically recognised and installed. This 

driver will allow you to transfer your ambulatory data to the software database.  

 
You can also use your 

OT

O

WIN 

device by controlling it directly from a computer (PC or Mac). This feature requires 

the installation of a USB driver. The installation of the driver is automatically started during the installation of the soft-
ware; however, you may need to perform a manual installation for this, start the software and then, in the  main window 
of the software, click on 

"Device"

, then on 

"Data"

. The central window changes, at the bottom right click on 

"Install
