3. Place ignition switch in “START” position.
4. Move choke lever to OPEN position.
5. If tank is not empty, pull starter handle.
6. If fuel tank is empty, after refilling, push the purge
bulb (until fuel is visible in clear fuel return line). Pull
starter handle.
NOTE
If engine does not starting after four pulls, use cold
starting procedure.

7. Put fingers on the right side of brake lever.
8. Return lever in the arrow direction until it clicks.
The brake is released this way.
• Activate brake before starting engine.
1. Put fingers on the left side of brake lever.
2. Pull lever in the arrow direction until it clicks.
(Even when the engine revolution rises after engine
start, cutter blade does not move.)
Depress throttle trigger lockout and gradually squeeze
throttle trigger.
