SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully and save for future use!
Warning:
The safety measures and instructions, contained in this manual, do not include all conditions and
situations possible. The user must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot
be integrated into any product. Therefore, these factors shall be ensured by the user/s using and operating
this appliance. We are not liable for damages caused during shipping, by incorrect use, or the modifi cation or
adjustment of any part of the appliance.
To protect against a risk of fi re or electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical
appliances, including the following:
1. Always power the appliance from the power supply
of the same voltage, frequency and required capacity
according to the product type label.
2.
Do not use the appliance if the power cord or its plug
are damaged, if it fell or there is any other damage
to the appliance or if the appliance does not work
properly.
3. If the power cord of the appliance is damaged, have
it replaced by a professional service.
4. Do not immerse the appliance in liquids, do not
expose it to rain and humidity and use water only for
cooking in accordance with this instruction manual.
5. The appliance must not be used close to water, in
bathrooms, showers and close to swimming pools,
where it could fall in water or be splashed by water.
6. Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces or lead
the cord over sharp edges.
7. Always use the appliance on an even, stable surface
to prevent overturning it. Do not use the appliance
in sinks, on drip draining places or other uneven
surfaces.
8. Do not put the appliance in places where it could be
exposed to high temperatures from stoves, radiators,
gas appliances, etc.
9.
Do not place the appliance on top of electrical or gas
stoves and ovens.
10. Contact with hot surface may cause burns. When you
handle parts of the appliance when in operation, use
suitable utensils and oven mitts.
11. If you do not use the appliance, switch it off and
unplug it from power. Before you dismantle the
product for cleaning, let all the parts of the appliance
cool off . Disconnect the power cord by pulling on the
plug – never yank the cable.
12. Never plug the rice cooker in, or switch it on without
the cooking vessel inserted correctly into the cooker.
13. Do not fi ll the body of the rice cooker with liquid.
Only the cooking vessel is designed for liquids.
14. ATTENTION: Lift the glass lid carefully, and tilt it in
such a way that the steam is escaping away from you
to prevent scalding. Do not let the water from the lid
drip into the body of the cooker, it can drip only into
the cooking vessel.
15. Do not use damaged or broken cooking vessel.
Replace it before using.
16. Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than
it is designed for.
17. Do not use outside.
18. The appliance should not be left unattended when
in operation.
19. Store the appliance inside in a dry place.
20. The appliance does not contain any parts repairable
by the user. Do not try to repair or modify the
appliance by yourself.
21. Let the appliance cool down before cleaning and
storing it.
22. Do not place other objects on the appliance and
prevent inserting of foreign objects, do not use close
to drapes, etc.
23. Attention: When in use, the cooker heats up and the
steam is escaping through the openings in the lid. Do
not cover any openings. Do not touch hot surfaces.
Use holders and controls.
24. The use of accessories not recommended by the
manufacturer may endanger persons or property.
25. This appliance is designed for domestic use only.
26. This appliance can be used by children ages 8 and
older and by the physically and mentally impaired
or by individuals with insuffi
cient experience and
knowledge, if supervised or trained to use the
appliance in a safe manner and understand potential
dangers. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and maintenance operations performed by
the user shall not be carried out by children, if they
are not older than 8 years and under supervision.
Children under the age of 8 shall keep away from the
appliance and its power supply. Children shall not
play with the appliance.
