SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully and save for future use!
Warning:
The safety measures and instructions, contained in this manual, do not include all possible
conditions and situations. The user must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors that
cannot be integrated into any product. Therefore, these factors shall be ensured by the user/s using and
operating this appliance. We are not liable for damages caused during shipping, by incorrect use, voltage
fl uctuation or the modifi cation or adjustment of any part of the appliance.
To protect against the risk of fi re or electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical
appliances, including the following:
1.
Make sure the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage provided on the appliance label and that
the socket is properly grounded. The outlet must be installed according to valid safety instructions.
2. Do not operate the appliance if the power cord is damaged.
All repairs including power cord
replacement shall be performed by a professional service centre! Do not remove protective
covers of the appliance, risk of electric shock!
3. Protect the device against direct contact with water and other liquids, to prevent potential electric shock.
4. The product is intended for household use only! Do not operate the oil fi lled radiator outdoors or in a
moist environment and do not touch the cord or appliance with wet hands. Risk of electric shock.
5. Close supervision is necessary for operating the oil fi lled radiator near children!
6. Do not use the oil fi lled radiator near fl ammable items or underneath them, for example near curtains.
The temperature of surfaces near the oil fi lled radiator (0.5 m) can be hotter than usual. Place the oil
fi lled radiator away from other objects to ensure suffi
cient air circulation needed for its proper operation.
Never cover oil fi lled radiator!

Do not use the oil fi lled radiator with a programming device, a timer, a separate remote control system,
or any other device that switches the radiator on, because a fi re hazard exists if the radiator is covered or
incorrectly placed.
8. Do not use the radiator in close proximity of bathtubs, showers or a swimming pool!
9. If an unusual smell or smoke begins to come from the device, disconnect the device immediately and
visit a service centre.
10. Do not turn the device on or off by plugging or unplugging the power cord. Always turn the oil fi lled
radiator off using the main switch; afterwards you may unplug the cord from the outlet!
11. Leaving the oil fi lled radiator cord connected to outlet unattended is not recommended. Disconnect the
cord from the electrical outlet prior to performing maintenance. Do not pull the cord from the outlet by
yanking the cord. Unplug the cord from the outlet by grasping the plug.
12. Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces or lead the cord over sharp edges.
13. Do not put your fi ngers or other objects into the openings of the oil fi lled radiator.
14. Use the oil fi lled radiator in accordance with the instructions given in this manual only. The manufacturer
is not liable for damages caused by the improper use of this appliance.
15. This appliance is fi lled with a certain amount of special oil. Repairs that require opening of the oil tank
may be performed only by a qualifi ed service technician whom you need to contact in case of any oil
leak. When disposing of the heater, follow the regulations concerning the disposal of oil.
16. This appliance shall not be used by persons (including children), whose physical, sensorial or mental
inability or insuffi
cient experience and skills prevent them from safely using the appliance, if they are not
supervised or if they have not been instructed regarding the use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety. Child supervision is essential to prevent them from playing with the appliance.
CAUTION:
To prevent the appliance from overheating, do not cover the radiator. The radiator must
not be placed directly under an outlet.
