Removing stains
Alcoholic beverages:
Wash the stain fi rst with cold water, then run with glycerine solution in water and rinse
in water with vinegar.
Shoe polish:
Lightly scrape the stain without damaging the fabric, rub it gently with detergent and rinse.
If it does not disappear, rinse with 1 unit of pure alcohol (96%) mixed with 2 water units and then wash in
lukewarm water.
Tea and coff ee
Stretch a spot with a stain on a top of a suitable container and pour on it water as hot as the
type of fabric allows. If the fabric can withstand it, wash it with a bleaching agent.
Chocolate and cocoa:
Soak in cold water and rub with water with soap or detergent , then wash in as high
temperature as the fabric allows. If there is still greasy stain on the fabric, wipe it with oxide (3%).
Ketchup:
Scratch the dried pieces without damaging the fabric, then soak in cold water for about 30 minutes
and handwash in water with detergent.
Meat broth, egg:
Remove the dried stain and wipe with a sponge or a soft cloth soaked in cold water. Hand
wash with detergent and wash in a diluted bleach.
