Cleaning the door
•
Use only a cloth dampened with warm water to clean around the rim of the door. Do not use spray cleaners
to prevent water from penetrating the door lock or electrical components. Also do not use any abrasive
cleaners or abrasive powders that could scratch the surface of the appliance. Even some paper towels can
leave traces on the surface or scratches.
How to keep your dishwasher in good condition
After each washing
After each wash, close the water supply to the
appliance and leave the door slightly open so that the
moisture and odors can vent from the interior.
Disconnect the power supply
Before any cleaning and maintenance disconnect the
power supply. Do not take a risk.
Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners
Never use solvents or abrasive cleaners to clean the
exterior and rubber parts of the dishwasher. Use
only cloth dipped into warm, soapy water. Remove
stains and residue from the interior surfaces of the
dishwasher with a cloth soaked in a mild vinegar
solution or a special agent intended for dishwashers.
During vacations
If the appliance will not be in use for longer time,
perform a wash cycle without dishes, disconnect the
power supply, close the water supply and leave the
door of the dishwasher ajar. This will prevent forming
odors inside the appliance and you will save the door
seal.
Moving the dishwasher
If the machine must be moved, try to transport it in an
upright position. If it is absolutely necessary, it can be
placed on its back.
Seal
Remains of food that gets stuck in the door seals are
one of the factors creating the odor in the dishwasher.
Prevent the formation of odor by regularly cleaning
the seal with a damp sponge.
