TV OPERATION
Controlling the channel list
TV arranges all stored stations in the Channel List. You can edit this channel list, set favourites or active stations
using the options in the Channels menu. Press the
OK
button to open the Channel List menu. Use the options
on the
Filter
and
Edit
tabs to filter the listed channels or make advanced changes to the current list. To view
the available options, highlight the tab you wish to use and confirm
OK
.
To add the channel you're currently watching to
My TV
, highlight
Add to My TV
in the
Edit
tab of the
Channels
menu and press
OK
.
Note: The Move to Position,
Delete
and Edit Title commands in the TV>Channels>Edit menu are not available
for channels that are broadcast by M7.
Manage your Favourites list
You can create four different lists of your favourite channels. To open the Channels menu, go to TV>Channels
or press
OK
. Highlight the
Edit
tab and confirm
OK
, the editing options will be displayed. Select Mark/Remark
Channel. To select the appropriate channel, select it and confirm with
OK
. You can choose several options. You
can also mark all channels in the list using the Mark/Remark Channel option. Then press the
BACK
button to
return to the Edit menu options. Select Add/Remove Favourites and press
OK
. A list of favourite channels will
be displayed. Set the desired list option to On. The selected channel(s) will be added to the list. In order to
remove a channel or channels from the favourites list, follow the same steps and set the desired option in the
list to Off.
To permanently filter the channels in the channel list according to your preferences, you can use the filter
function in the Channels menu. For example, you can use the options on the Filter tab to set the favourite
channels list to appear every time you open the channel list. The selected filtering options are displayed at the
top of the Channels menu screen.
Configuring Parental Settings
By selecting the Parental Protection menu, users can be prohibited from viewing certain programmes,
channels and using menus. These settings can be found in
Settings
>
System
>
Parental control settings
.
To view the locked parental control menu options, you must enter your PIN. After entering the correct PIN, the
Parental menu will appear.
OSD lock
: This setting enables or disables access to all menus or installation menus on the TV.
Parental control
: If this option is set, the TV receives information about the accessibility of the broadcast
programmes, if the programme is inappropriate for minors, it will disable access to the broadcast.
Note:
If the Country option in the First Installation is set to France, Italy or Austria, the default value of Lock By
Age will be set to 18.
Child lock:
When this function is ON, the TV can only be operated with the remote control. In this case, the
control buttons on the TV will not work.
Internet lock:
If this option is set to ON, applications that use the Internet will be disabled. Set to OFF to release
the app again.
PIN settings:
Set a new PIN.
Default CICAM PIN:
This option will be displayed as grey if no CI module is inserted in the CI slot of the TV. Use
this option to change the default CI CAM PIN.
TV PIN*:
By enabling or disabling this option, you can enable or restrict certain M7 operator channels by
sending PIN requests. These PIN requirements provide access to the control mechanisms of the respective
channels. If this option is On, channels that broadcast PIN code requests cannot be accessed without entering
the correct PIN code.
* This option will only be available if the M7 operator is installed.
