The temperature and pressure relief valve provided by the manufacturer shall be installed at the �me of
installa�on of the heater in the loca�on specified by the manufacturer. Local codes shall govern
installa�on of relief devices. For safe opera�on of the water heater, the relief valve must not be removed
or plugged.
OUTDOOR USE ONLY
The unit must be installed on a fire retardant area, and must be away from all combus�ble
materials. Clearance should be 1.75 � to the le� and right side of combus�ble materials, and
6.75 � to the front.
Open on three sides and an overhead clearance of 36”
Not recommended in excess of 2,000 �. above sea level. Category III Water Heater
