UV FILTER STERILIZATION
As well as the Everpure OCS
2
filter it is
possible to install an Ultraviolet sterilizing
filter UV-C (
λ
=254 nm)
The UV-C light emitted by a special 6W
bulb – mercury vapors is lethal for any
type of micro-organism (bacteria, virus,
fungus, algae etc.). It is for this reason
that water treated with a UV-C sterilizer is
microbiologically pure.
WARNING !
The light emitted by the Ultra-violet
lamp can cause serious burning to
the skin and eyes.
Do not remove it from its stainless
steel container. This must only be
done by a qualified technician.
