
The auto-tuning can be applied either as the process is warming
up ( Cold Start ) or as the process has been in steady state (
Warm Start ).
After the auto-tuning procedures are completed, the AT
indicator will cease to flash and the unit revert to PID control
by using its new PID values. The PID values obtained are
stored in the nonvolatile memory.
In certain applications ( very few ) using auto-tuning to tune a
process may be inadequate for the control requirement, then you
can try manual tuning.
Use the following guide to adjust P, I, & D during manual tuning:
