Replacing the System Controller or I/O Board

The SC300 system controller or the I/O board can be replaced without switching off the dc

power system and disconnecting the equipment it powers.
If the system is configured for only one IO Board, the SC300 will automatically detect the IO

Board and assign it as IOB 1 (address 1).
If more than one IO Board is to be installed, refer to I/O Board or Fan Controller serial number

mapping on page 145

The specific procedures depend on the system configuration. Refer to the dc power system

Installation and Operation Guide.
