From earthed position to service position
Emergency operation with circuit-breaker door closed
Positions of the withdrawable unit

Switch ON the circuit-breaker
a. Close the circuit-breaker via the ON
push-button (2).
b. Check that the circuit-breaker is ON.

Switch OFF the earthing switch

Switch OFF the circuit-breaker
mechanically
a. Turn the key clockwise to
unlock position.
b. Insert the rod into the initial position
‘TRIP’ (12).
c. Push the rod until the manual open
button (G) will be triggered.
d. The circuit-breaker is switched OFF.
(in case no auxiliary supply)

Switch ON the circuit-breaker
mechanically (option)
a. Check if the secondary connector (A)
is placed.
b. Turn the key clockwise to unlock
position.
c. Insert the rod into the initial position
‘CLOSE’ (11).
d. Push the rod until the manual close
button (E) will be triggered.
e. The circuit-breaker is switched ON.
Be aware that tripping and protection
circuits are not working properly in case
there is no auxiliary supply.
a.
Make sure that the cable door (7) is
closed.
b.
Open the cover to access the operating
shaft (

c.
Insert the operating handle.
d.
Turn the handle anti-clockwise to move
the earthing switch to the OFF position.
e.
Remove the operating handle.
f.
The earthing switch can be padlocked
in the OFF position, if required.
g.
With the earthing switch in the
OFF position the cable door (7) is
mechanical interlocked.

Withdrawal from TEST to SERVICE
position
a.
Check if the secondary connector (A)
is placed.
b.
Check that the circuit-breaker is OFF.
c.
Make sure that the circuit-breaker door (6)
is closed.
d.
Fit the hand crank on the drive shaft
(13).
e.
Turn the hand crank clockwise until the
unit reach the SERVICE position.
f.
Remove the hand crank.
g.
With the unit in SERVICE position the
circuit-breaker door (6) is mechanical
interlocked.
