Refill frozen oil
The addition of refrigerant will lead to the dilution of frozen oil in the system, which will affect the lubrication and
cooling effect of frozen oil, so it is necessary to add frozen oil. The type of frozen oil used in the unit is FV50S.
If the frozen oil which does not conform to the specified type is used, it will cause irreversible damage to the
compressor.
The unit has been filled with frozen oil according to the standard pipe when it left the factory. If the connecting
pipeline between indoor and external unites is more than 30m, it is necessary to add frozen oil to the system to
make the system run normally. When the length of indoor and outdoor connection pipe is increased by 1m, the
amount of frozen oil supplement is as follows:
The additional formula is as follows: the amount of refrigerant oil (ml) = 300 (ml) + more than 10 metres’
refrigerant (kg) × 22.6 is needed in the system.
Refueling method: Add after vacuum and before filling refrigerant, the frozen oil container and needle valve can be
connected by pressure hose.
Refueling position: Add frozen oil at the air path needle valve of the indoor unit.
Refrigerant addition refers to the refrigerant dose that exceeds the standard charge, and it is generally necessary
to add refrigerant when it exceeds the standard connecting tube. It is necessary to increase the amount of frozen
oil for cryogenic assemblies. Please refer to the installation instructions for cryogenic assemblies.

The system needs to be vacuumed again after adding frozen oil.
2.10 Refrigerant charging
When stopping, the supplementary refrigerant can be filled from the needle valve of the exhaust pipe (that is, the
high- pressure side, the smaller nozzle of the compressor). When starting, the supplementary refrigerant must be
refilled from the needle valve behind the expansion valve (low-pressure side), using handstand or inclination (more
than 45 °). However, it is necessary to ensure that the refrigerant is refilled slowly into the compressor to avoid
damage caused by liquid shock.
When the unit leaves the factory, the unit has not been filled with refrigerant. The unit must been filled with the
refrigerant in the field. If the connecting pipeline between indoor and outdoor units is not more than 10 m, there
is no need to charge additional refrigerant.
