Altitude factors
All Magnum breakers can be applied at their full voltage
and current ratings up to a maximum altitude of 2000
meters above sea level. When installed at higher altitudes,
the ratings are subject to correction factors. Short circuit
current is not affected as long as the voltage is rated in
accordance with the information shown in the
Table 30
.

Test bus configuration
The bus bar size examples shown here are those specified
by ANSI, IEC 947-1 and/or used by Eaton in their breaker
type testing. They are for 3 meter long bus bar with the
faces vertical and painted flat black. For other bus bar
configurations, larger bus bar sizes may be required or
the breaker may have to be de-rated. Refer to the tables
presented earlier in this section for de-rating information at
higher ambient temperatures.
