8.4 Configurator
Call the configurator in the System menu. The following menu items vary
according to the device or the connected periphery.

A description of how to parameterize and configure the easyNet network is
provided in,

In this menu you assign parameters to a configurable local expansion unit
that is connected to the easyLink terminal of the easy800 standard. The
menu is only accessible if this type of local expansion unit is connected.
easy800-SWD does not have this feature..
The configurable expansion units include the bus modules such as EASY
204-DP and the EASY4..-DC-ME analog expansion units.
Configuring the bus module
With a bus module you only configure the address via which it is to be
accessed on the fieldbus. The relevant operator manual for the bus module
provides the relevant information.

ETHERNET-GW
This menu is used to assign parameters for an EASY209-SE Ethernet
gateway that is connected to the serial interface.
Basic requirements:
•
The easy800 device is in STOP operating mode.
•
easy800 standard and the Ethernet gateway are interconnected via the
EASY800-MO-CAB connection cable. To connect easy800-SWD use the
EU4A-RJ45-CAB2 connection cable.
The following table shows the available parameters and their factory settings
for an Ethernet coupling unit.
The description of the parameters is provided in the operating manual for
the Ethernet gateway AWB2528-1596., chapter Configuration via the RS232
interface and in the Help system of easySoft-Pro.

device version 01.
