Putting Into Operation
Before the LEDs can light up, the batteries of the solar units
need to be charged up for around 6 to 8 hours depending
on the angle of the sunlight.
Do not put up the solar lights in the shade (e.g. not below
treetops). If possible, they should be able to receive direct
sunlight all day long.
1. Unpack the items supplied and remove all possible protective
fi
lms (e.g. from the solar panel) and stickers. Check all parts for
possible transport damage. If you
fi
nd any transport damage,
contact the customer service department immediately.
2. Pull out the protective strip next to the LEDs to activate the
battery.
3. Slide the On/Off switch to
ON.
4. Hook the fastening arm onto the
edge of the gutter.
5. Tighten the locking screw until the
solar lamp is held
fi
rmly in place. It
must not wobble.
6. Repeat steps 2 to 5 for the other solar lights.
The batteries of the solar units can now charge up in daylight.
When darkness sets in, the LEDs automatically switch on. When
it gets light, the LEDs switch off and the batteries are charged up
via the solar panels.
