− Before you dispose of the vacuum cleaner, take the battery pack out of the
device and dispose of the battery pack separately from the vacuum cleaner
in accordance with the notes in the chapter “Disposal”.
Remove the battery pack as follows:
1. Pull the mains adapter

out of the vacuum cleaner (see
fig. A
).
2. Operate the vacuum cleaner until it no longer functions.
The battery pack is completely discharged now.
3. Push and hold the locking button

and pull the dust bin

off of the
motor housing

4. Use a cross-slotted screwdriver to loosen the six screws on the motor
housing.
5. Take one half of the housing off.
6. Carefully disconnect the cable connections and remove the battery pack.
7. Properly dispose of the battery pack as described in the chapter “Disposing
of the vacuum cleaner”.
8. Properly dispose of the vacuum cleaner as described in the chapter “Dispos-
ing of the vacuum cleaner”.
