Use of rechargeable batteries
The appliance contains a lithium ion battery.
WARNING!
Risk of explosion!
Batteries can explode if they are exposed to extreme heat.
− Do not throw the battery into a fi re.
− Never expose the battery to excessive heat such as sunlight,
fi re, strong artifi cial light or similar.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage to the battery.
Improper use of the battery can lead to complete destruction of
the battery.
− Avoid strong impacts and vibrations.
− Charge the battery regularly and as fully as possible. Do not
leave the battery discharged for a longer period.
− Contact Service if the appliance can no longer be switched on
despite the battery having been charged (operating light is
blue).
− Use the power adapter provided to charge the vacuum cleaner.
− Do not use chargers that are damaged in any way.
− Keep any fl uid that leaks out of a battery away from your eyes
or skin. If battery fl uid makes contact with eyes or skin, rinse the
corresponding area with plenty of clear water and immediately
seek medical advice.
− Do not store the vacuum cleaner and charging station in hot,
cold, damp or dirty environments. Extreme environmental
conditions will impair the charging capacity of the battery.
− Do not charge the battery for a longer time if the vacuum
cleaner is not used.
