Self-cleaning function
This function cleans the inside of the soleplate

. It is recommended to
activate the self-cleaning function approximately every two weeks.
1. Fill the water tank

to the
MAX
mark as described in the chapter “Adding
water” and set the steam control dial

to the position (no steam).
2. Plug in the steam iron and set the temperature control dial

to
MAX
. Wait
about two minutes until the steam iron reaches the maximum temperature.
3. Set the temperature control dial to
0
and unplug the steam iron from the
power outlet.
4. Hold the steam iron horizontally over a sink, then push and hold down the
self-clean button

until the water tank is empty.
Storage
1. Make sure the steam iron has cooled off completely and the water tank

is empty.
2. Wind the power cord loosely around the steam iron, making sure the cord
does not touch the soleplate

3. Store the steam iron out of the reach of children in a dry, well-ventilated area.
4. If you do not use the steam iron for a prolonged period, store it in the
original packaging to protect it against dust.
